The Exodus Committee, representing the refugee Jews at the camp here, refused today to accept displaced persons’ cards offered by the British authorities. The committee insisted it would accept only Palestine certificates.

A spokesman said the Jews did not wish to become DP’s, pointing out that they were forcibly removed “from our home, Palestine, and must return there, where we seek to establish a normal life.” The British had renewed their offer in order to Clear up the status of the refugees who have no official status at present although they receive DP assistance.
