Dr. Samuel H. Goldenson, spiritual leader of Temple Emanu-El of New York for the last 14 years, who will retire from his pulpit at the end of this month, today preacked his farewell sermon at a special evening service, which was followed by a reception tendered in his honor by the congregation’s board of trustees.
