The American League or A Free Palestine today announced that former Senator Guy Gillette “has no intention of withdrawing from the presidency of the League at this time.”
The announcement said that Gillette will issue a statement next week outlining his plans for future work with the League. The statement was issued in connection with press reports from Iowa quoting the former Senator as stating that he planned to resign as of January 1st.
