An appeal to the U.S. Government to make available to the ‘Jews in Palestine military aid in the form of weapons and supplies “for the defense against the onslaughts of threatening Arab neighbors” was directed today by the national executive of the Mizrachi Organization of America.
The organization also sent an urgent appeal to the United Nations to adopt “immediate and firm measures to restore law and order in the Holy land.” The United States Government was also asked to make available ships “for transporting hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees to the new Jewish state.”
