A School of Education and Community Administration will be opened at the Yeshiva University in September, 1948, Dr. Samuel Belkin, president, announced today.
The school, which will be located in buildings now being constructed adjoining the University’s main building, is the first to be opened under the University’s recently undertaken physical expansion program. The courses at the new school will offered to fall-time graduate students as well as part-time students already serving in the respective areas.
The expansion program will provide for an adult education section, to expand undergraduate facilities in arts and sciences, extend mathematical studies and provide additional training for teachers and supervisors in Hebrew schools.
