The memorial created for Jewish martyrs at Kiskuielegy-Haza was destroyed last night by vandals, while thirty-eight tombstone were desecrated.

Police authorities suspect that the memorial was destroyed by members of the dissolved Catholic Youth Organization. The desecration at the Buda cemetery, the police believes, was carried out by German youths. This is the second time this month that tombstones over the graves of Nazi victims were defaced and otherwise desecrated by vandals who broke into the Buda cemetery.
