Jawahrlal Nehru, Premier of India, today denied press reports that the Government of India had supplied a large quantity of arms and ammunition to the Arab League for use in Palestine. In a cable to Rep. Emanuel Celler, Premier Nehru said that these reports re “wholly devoid of foundation.” He expressed surprise that anybody should give credence surprise that anybody should give credence to them.
