Prosecutor Opposes Dismissal of Charges Against to Nazi Diplomats Now on Trial

Chief American prosecutor Brig. Gen. Telford ##lor today opposed a motion to dismiss charges of haying committed crimes against ##anity before 1933 against 13 of 21 top Nazi diplomats and ministers who are on ##al here before an. American war crimes tribunal. Defense counsel pointed out that ## international tribunal at the first war crimes trial threw out all testimony pertaining to events before 1933.

“Wholesale persecution and a program designed to exterminate people on racial and political grounds have long been against the laws of civilized nations and are ##so punishable as crimes according to the defendants’ own domestic laws,” Taylor ?gued. “Massacres and atrocities on racial and political grounds have been recognized as crimes since even before the first World War.”
