An appeal to French Jewry to aid the Haganah in Palestine was made here last night at a mass meeting sponsored by the Union of French Zionists. The meeting al0o expressed confidence that the Jewish state would be estab?shed in the near future.
Speakers at the meeting included Andre Blumel, president of the Union Judge ?on Meiss, president of the CEB1, central representative body of French Jewry; Deputy ?erre Bloch and representatives of the Jewish Agency and the Jewish National Fund.
