Dr. Enrique Hertzog, president of Bolivia, today expressed his thanks to the Jewish community of Oruro “for the interest that all members of the Jewish community have shown for the town’s progress.”
President Hertzog recently paid a visit to Oruro — an important mining center — and was presented with a silver plate by the 150 Jews resident there.
