The clothing Industry is prepared to offer 5,000 ? tailors jobs in this country if the U.S. Government permits them to enter as immigrant, it was revealed over the week-end by Berry A. Cobrin, secretary of the Clothing Manufacturers Association, who said that the Association has that number of affi?vits guaranteeing jobs. A nation-wide survey of the industry discloses that there ? an acute shortage of skilled tailors which can only be alleviated by immigrants ?cause few native born Americans are interested in the field, Cobrin added.
