Jewish Club Honors Bernard Baruch; Will Present Him with 20-year Award

Bernard M. Baruch will be the recipient tomorrow of the 20-year award of the Jewish Club in recognition for his “outstanding services to our country and his notable contributions in helping to strengthen democracy in the spirit of Hebrew prophecy.”

The award will be presented to him at the twentieth anniversary dinner of the club, of which Judge Alexander A. Mayper is president. The Jewish Club was founded in 1928 by Judge Jonah Goldstein, Bernard Semel, the late Felix M. Warburg and the late Judge Otto A. Rosalsky.
