Mcdonald Takes Oath As U.S. Representative to Israel in State Department Ceremony

James G. McDonald was sworn in today as special U.S. representative to Israel at a brief ceremony in the office of Stanley Woodward, State Department chief of protocol, who officiated.

It is not yet known when McDonald will leave to take up his duties in the Jewish state, but it is expected to be within the next two weeks.
