Two high schools maintained here by the Jewish community have been exempted from the country-wide nationalization program, it was announced today.

Meanwhile, the fate of seven other Jewish academic and vocational schools is still pending, but government officials have already assured Jewish leaders here that the “Jewish character” of some of the schools will be maintained if they are not totally exempted from the nationalization law.
