Diamonds totaling more than 6,000 carats in weight will go on sale next month, at the offices of the merchandising advisory committee of the International Refugee Organization, it was reported here today. Proceeds of the sale will go towards the rehabilitation of displaced persons.

Previous auction sales of other merchandise–representing loot seized by the Nazis from persons who could not be identified and which was recaptured by Allied armies–has resulted in $300,000 being turned over to the I.R.0. The merchandise includes silverware, china, Jewelry and glass.
