Declaring that there is no reason for speculation in currency, nor for the rising prices in the state of Israel, Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan today told a Chamber of Commerce meeting here today that the new Israeli currency will not be worse than the Palestine currency now in circulation.
Kaplan also emphasized that the Provisional Government of Israel is determined to hold elections as soon as possible to assure the establishment of a government based on democratic principles.
