The Israeli National Soccer team, all of whose members are enlisted in the Defense Army of Israel, will play a series of games against the U.S. Olympic Soccer Team, Chaim Glovinsky, president of the Israel Soccer Football Association, revealed here today on his arrival from London. The first game will be played here on Sept. 26 at the Polo Grounds, with the proceeds going to the United Jewish Appeal.

The Israeli high command, Glovinsky said, has approved special furloughs for the players for their visit to America. The Israeli team is composed of the Jewish state’s champion soccer player and represents the three major athletic associations in Israel–Hapoel (Labor Zionists), Maccabi (General Zionists) and Betar (revisionists.)
