American Jewry contributed $40,000,000 during the last ten months to the Jewish National Fund, Judge Morris Rothenberg, president of the J.N.F. of America, revealed at a large reception given him hers today. He was welcomed by Dr. Abraham Cranovsky, head of the world J.N.F. Pledging the continued support of the American Jewish community to Israel, Judge Rothenberg asserted: “Under its good leadership, the state of Israel has proven capable of independence and existence, despite the difficulties the young nation has had to face.”
