Bloody Riots Forecast in Cyprus Camps Unless Refugees Are Permitted to Go to Israel

Unless the Jewish refugees detained on Cyprus are allowed to go to Israel riots and “bloodshed will result in the immediate future, Moshe Kolodny, head of the Israeli Cyprus Refugee Aid Committee, today told a press conference here.

Conditions in the camp have worsened recently, Kolodny said, declaring that “they are now worse than the Nazi concentration camps.” He revealed that Israeli representatives are no longer permitted to enter camps and said that during the most recent shipment of over military age men to Israel, the Jews were mistreated “by British soldiers.
