Senator Ball Calls for Doubling of Dp Immigration Quota During Next Two Years

Senator Joseph Ball of Minnesota today called for doubling the number of displaced persons to be admitted to the United States during the next two years. The suggestion, for increasing the quota to 400,000 in two years, and not charging the DP’s against future quotas, was made in a statement released by San. Ball’s office here.
