Henry Ittleson, Jewish philanthropic and civic leader, died here last night at the age of 77. He was long active in numerous Jewish and non-sectarian philanthropic causes and took a special interest in Jewish communal affairs. He was former chairman of the board of the New York Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, honorary chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, and a number of the executive committee of the American Jewish Committee.
