A check for $500,000 to further medical and child welfare work in Israel was presented today by the Hadassah national board to Mrs. Rebecca Shulman, newly appointed liaison officer for Hadassah, at a luncheon in her honor at the Henry Hudson Hotel. Mrs. Shulman will leave for Israel by air on December 5 to take up residence in Israel where she will give on-the-spot administrative assistance to the Hadassah staff in the Jewish state.
