The S.S. Caserta is expected to arrive in Israel from Italy within a few days with a gift of four ambulances presented to the Red Mogen David by the Union of Italian Jewish Communities.

Thirty-five thousand new immigrants have already been settled in areas occupied by Israeli troops, it was learned here today. In the past three months 3,000 barracks have been erected and 5,000 are to be constructed in the coming months. The Jewish Agency and other Jewish institutions have established a financing corporation with a capital of $20,000,000 for this purpose.
