British Govt. Considers Compensation Claims for Britons Arrested As Spies in Israel

The question of the payment of compensation to Frederick Sylvester and four other Britons captured by the Irgun Zvai Leumi in Jerusalem and then turned over to the Israeli Government for trial on charges of espionage in behalf of the Arabs is being considered carefully by the British Government, Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin today told the House of Commons.
