Israeli Envoy to U.S. Confers with Acting Secretary of State on Various Problems

Eliahu Epstein, special representative of Israel to the United States, conferred with Acting Secretary of State Robert A. Lovett for more than an hour. He told reporters afterward that they had discussed a number of things but declined to be more specific. He added, however, that he did not discuss with Lovett the question of full recognition of Israel by the U.S.
