Vessel with 500 Jewish Passengers Stranded in Crete After Mishap Sails for Israel

The S.S. Tampa, with 500 Jewish passengers aboard, sailed from Seuda Bay in Crete today for Israel. The health and morale of the immigrants is reported as good. The Panamanian vessel has been under repairs for the past week after it lost its rudder in the Mediterranean and was towed in by a Dutch salvage Vessel.
