Rabbi Moshe Silver, father of Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, chairmen of the American section of the Jewish Agency, died here today at the age of 86. Leaders of Jerusalem’s cultural, civic and political life, including Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog, participated in the funeral. Rabbi Silver was well known as a scholar and commentator on the Torah.
