The United Kingdom’s delegation at the U.N. today labeled “absolutely untrue” charges that Britain was using German prisoners of war against Israel. In a statement issued to the press, the delegation also reprinted a letter from the French delegate at the U.S., Alexandre Parodi, describing the charges as “being totally without foundation.” The Nation Associates, an organization headed by Freda Kirchwey, editor of the ###tion magazine, which published the charges, based its case on a French intelligence report.
