Race Relations Sunday will be observed on Sunday throughout the country in all churches affiliated with the Federal Council of Churches of Christ in America. A call issued by the Council urges Christians in the United States “to take the lead in correcting racial injustices.” A special message adopted by the executive committee of the Council will be read from many pulpits, and mass meetings, pulpit exchanges and other pertinent programs will take place in numerous cities and towns.
