Council for Judaism Supports Proposal for Admission of Shanghai Refugees to U.s

The American Council for Judaism today announced its support for a proposal made by Rep. Emanuel Caller to the House Judiciary Committee advocating the admission to the United States of 7,000 refugees from Shanghai. A telegram to this effect was sent to Rep. Celler by Lessing J. Rosenwald, president of the Council, the announcement said.
