Award of a citation was made last night to Dr. Walter Clay Lowdermilk by the Washington Jewish National Fund Council for former U.S. soil conservation chief’s work as head of land reclamation project in the Jordan Valley in Israel. Presentation was made by Dr. Abraham Granovsky, world president of the Jewish National Fund.
