Religious services in the central synagogue here on Saturday were devoted to tributes to Prof. Albert Einstein, who recently celebrated his70th birthday. Chief Rabbi Fabian Herskovitz pointed up Einstein’s views on progress, science and universality and read from the scientist’s works to a large congregation. A special prayer in Hebrew was also recited for Einstein.
