Yiddish will be taught as a separate course in the curriculum of seven Rumanian state schools in Timisoara and Galatzi, it was reported here today. The decision is in line with the policy of the Ministry of Education to introduce courses in Yiddish in general state schools where the parents of the students request it and a sufficient enrollment is guaranteed.
