Israeli authorities were alerted today for the expected illegal arrival of Sidney Stanley, Polish Jew who was recently involved in the alleged financial scandal in British governmental circles. An American business-man named Still man was detained this morning when he was mistakenly identified as Stanley, whom the Israeli Government has refused a visa and who is missing from Eng-land. He has been reported en route to Israel.
In Jerusalem, a Joint Hebrew University-Hadassah Hospital delegation paid a visit to the Mt. Scopus area for the first time since the strategic height was evacuated last year. They surveyed conditions preparatory to resumption of operations of both institutions.
