S.s. Haifa Sails on First Voyage for Israel; Cargo Includes Equipment for New Plants

Equipment for establishment of two factories was shipped to Israel aboard the S.S. Haifa, the Israel American Line’s flagship, it was scrunched here by Gideon Strauss, Israeli Consul for Commercial Affairs in this city. #### Haifa left Sunday on its first voyage to Israel.

One of the new factories to be established in the Jewish state is a pipe fisting plant which S.M. Melton, of Columbus, Ohio, is setting up, while the other #### be a rayon-weaving factory which Jacob Epstein, of Paterson, N.J., is established Also included in the Haifa cargo are textile machinery, bakery equipment, razor made machinery and structural steel for prefabricated houses.
