The composition of the Israeli delegation to the Jewish-Arab conference at Lausanne, Switzerland, under the auspices of the U.N., was officially announced here today. Headed by Dr. Walter Eytan, director-general of the Foreign Ministry, the group will also include Eliahu Sassoon, Dr. Leo Kohn, Shabtai Rosenne, Dr. Gershon Meron, Gershon Hirsch and Michael Comay, all of the Foreign .Ministry, Zalman Lifshitz, of the Premier’s office, and Col. Yigal Yadin and Lt. Col, Moshe Dayan, of the Army.

In Jerusalem today, the Joint Israeli-Transjordan armistice commission met for a second time, under the chairmanship of Gen. William E. Riley, chief military aide to the U.N. mediator. After a fruitless session, the meeting adjourned. The parley took place in a half-destroyed school in no man’s land opposite the Nablus Gate of the Old City.

Arriving in Haifa tonight, accompanied by Henri Vigier, chief civilian aide to the mediator, Riley told newsmen that he intends to transfer the U.N. observation staff from Haifa, probably to Jerusalem, after the Israeli-Syrian armistice agreement is signed.
