A sum of $75,000 was raised by listeners of Radio Station WEVD for erection of a rehabilitation center in Israel for victims of polio, it was revealed here at a meeting marking the completion of one year of continuous broadcasts of the “Voice of Israel” program, Don Pines, Israeli editor now in this country in connection with the Histadrut campaign for $10,000,000, has been conducting the special news program since its inception.
