Jewish History Week will be celebrated throughout the United States beginning Sunday by Jewish community centers, synagogues, YM- JA’s and Jewish schools, it was announced today by the American Jewish Historical Society, sponsor of the project.
Lee M, Friedman, president of the Society, which is now under the sponsorship the National Jewish Welfare Board, said that observance of Jewish History Week U be “”national in scope and memorable in character, judging by the volume of retests that have come to the Society for program material on the Week,”
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
