Prison sentences ranging from five to 15 years were imposed by a court here on 13 Rumanian policemen who served in the Tulcin area in the Ukraine, occupied by Rumanian Army units during the war. They were found guilty of charges of maltreating and causing the death of a large number of the 5,000 Rumanian Jews interned in Tulcin. Only 500 of these Jews survived the war.
