Former Argentine Immigration Director, Charged with Anti-jewish Policy, Loses Second Post

The Argentine Government has announced the appointment of Dr. Angel Saturnino Taboada as director of the National Ethnical Institute, succeeding Dr. Santiago Peralta. Dr. Peralta, who was removed from his position of director of the Immigration Department in June, 1947, had been charged a number of tines with advocating and following an anti-Jewish policy in selecting immigrants to enter Argentina.
