Yankel Adler, noted Jewish painter whose works are represented in several museums throughout the world, died here today at the age of 56 after suffering a heart attack. A native of Lodz, he came to Britain from Poland during the war. Previously, he served as professor of art at Duaseldorf University and also was co-founder of a Jewish art magazine. He was the author of several art books.
