A warrant for the arrest of Ilse Koch, notorious German war criminal who is due to be released from an American zone prison later this year, has been issued by a court in Weimar, provincial capital of Thuringia, in the Soviet zone, it was reported here by DENA, U.S.-licensed German news service. Simultaneously, the public prosecutor of Thuringia formally filed a request with the American occupation authorities for the extradition of Ilse Koch, the report added.
