Leader of British Jewry Arrives in New York to Confer with U.S. Jewish Groups

Abraham Moss, alderman of the city of Manchester, England, and a leader of British Jewry, arrived here to confer with leaders of major Jewish organizations in the United States and to acquaint himself with their operational systems. He will also make a five-week tour of the United States to study health, hospital and housing conditions. Moss paid a courtesy call on Mayor 0’Dwyer at City Hall and presented him with a message from the Lord Mayor of Manchester.
