A small Jewish-owned clothing shop was blasted in the early hours this morning by a bomb thrown at the store’s front window. Several similar outrages have occurred in this city recently.

A monument paying tribute to the memory of 600 Jews of Bordeaux who perished at the hands of the Nazis during the war was unveiled in the courtyard of the Bordeaux Synagogue. Among the Jews whose names were inscribed on the memorial is Georges Mandel, Jewish member of the last French Cabinet before the fall of Paris to the Nazi Army.
