Ceremony Marks Estsblishment of Diplomatic Relations Between Argentina and Irrael

Diplomatic relations between Argentina and Israel were officially established yesterday following an exchange of notes by Argentine Foreign Minister Juan Bramuglia and Israeli representative Carlos Grunberg. The ceremony took place in Dr. Bramuglia’s office here.

The agreement provided for the appointment of Arieh Chill as Israeli consul in Buenos Aires. It was unofficially learned that Yacov Tour, Israeli Minister to Montevideo, will be named Minister to Argentina, while Pablo Menguel, a leader of the Pro-Peronist Organization Israelite Argentina, will be Argentine Minister to Israel.
