Israel Appoints Consuls to Canada; Will Establish a Legation in Buenos Aires

Abraham Herman, attached to the press section of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, was today appointed consul-general to Canada, and Emanuel Bentuvim was named consul. Both will be stationed at Montreal.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced today that Israel and Argentina will establish legations and exchange ministers. The Argentine Minister to Tel Aviv will be Pablo Manguel, an Argentine Jewish leader. Yaakov Tsur, Israeli Minister to Uruguay, will be accredited to Buenos Aires and will take up residence there.
