Samuel J. Zacks, president of the United Zionist Council of Canada, announced today the purchase of $1,000,000 worth of Canadian wheat for Israel.
The order, placed by the Jewish Agency, is being paid for from funds of the United Israel Appeal and is part of a program for the purchase of food and other commodities in Canada for Israel, Mr. Zacks said.
