Dr. Mordecai Eliash, Israeli Minister to Britain, presented his credentials to King George at Buckingham Palace today in an audience lasting 15 minutes.

The King showed a full acquaintance with the problems of Israel, according to a legation spokesman, and displayed keen interest in the welfare and development of the new state. He also inquired after President Chaim Weizmann, the spokesman added.

The envoy was received at the palace entrance by Sir John Monck, Marshal of the diplomatic corps, accompanied by his assistants, and by Sir William Strang, permanent Undersecretary at the Foreign Office. Sir William was present at the audience with King George.
