State Department to Start Consultations on U.S. Action to Secure Arab-israeli Peace

Consultations will be held within the State Department this week on the next steps which the U.S. Government will take to bring about peace between the Arabs and Israel, it was learned here today.

Raymond Hare, deputy director of the Office of Near Eastern and African Affairs of the Department, who has just returned from the Conciliation Commission talks at Lausanne, reported today at the Department.
