Uruguayan-israeli Chamber of Commerce Opened in Montevideo; Increased Trade Expected

A formal ceremony marking the establishment of the Israeli-Uruguayan Chamber of Commerce took place here yesterday. It was addressed by Yaacov Taur, Israeli Minister to Uruguay and Argentine, and by the president of the Uruguayan State Bank.

Pedro Grzywacz, secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, said that trade relations between Israel and Uruguay will be intensified as a result of the establishment of the new institution.
